Greubel Forsey's tagline is "the art of invention," and its iconoclastic architecture straddles the intersection of sculpture and engineering. But it's a very thin line on which to balance. 250 years of craftsmanship inheritance, Breguet Classique series minute repeater watch 7637 rose gold version
Simple but not simple, it is a watch like Breguet Classique Répétition Minutes 7637. The Grand Feu enamel dial creates a deep and pure time-reading field of vision, and the slender hollow Breguet hands slowly move between the Breguet Arabic numerals decorated with silver glitter, indicating the advancement of time. The materials used had to have distinct acoustic properties, and the parts had to be delicate enough to function in a case of appropriate size. Breguet has been working on this complex function for nearly 250 years.
The Breguet Classique Répétition Minutes 7637 has a new rose gold model with a diameter of 42mm and a 567.25 manual winding movement. Through the sapphire crystal case back, you can appreciate the hand-carved decoration of this movement and the polished stainless steel hammer. The gong is fixed in the middle of the case instead of the splint, so that the gong vibrates directly and effectively transmits the sound. The gong is made of gold, which has rich overtones; and because it is the same material as the case, it has the same acoustic impedance, which can provide better sound transmission and performance.
